About the event
Impact and evaluation roles are rarely neat and tidy. They stretch across multiple functions, carry shifting priorities, and often sit with complex, sometimes difficult, data. The value of this work can feel invisible, and the emotional weight of it? Very real.
This lunchtime session is a chance to step back, reflect, and take stock.
Through a mix of practical tools, personal reflection, and shared experience, we'll explore how to sustain yourself in this kind of work, from setting boundaries and protecting creative thinking space, to consciously closing pieces of work so the learning carries forward. We'll also dig into the power of connection, and how building peer relationships (and making the most of networks like ChEW) can transform what can otherwise feel like isolating work.
You'll leave with renewed permission to prioritise your own wellbeing, and practical ideas to take back into your work.
