Establishing an Evaluation Culture

Join us for our final event of the year, an exploration into the practicalities of establishing an evaluation culture within organisations. The event will feature panel discussions with members from within and outside our sector, each sharing their different journeys towards shaping the standards of evaluation.

• Erin Elliott (Department for Business and Trade): Learn about the Department for Business and Trade's progression in developing an evaluation function, taking a top-down approach such as getting senior buy-in, creating a formalised M&E strategy, and challenging negative attitudes about the usefulness of evaluation
• Areena Hatamian and Sarah Dickens (Girlguiding): Sharing the challenges and successes of garnering organizational buy-in for impact measurement and developing an impact framework at Girlguiding
• Bethia McNeil (Centre for Youth Impact): Understand the founding story of the Centre for Youth Impact and the efforts to convince youth charities to enhance their evaluation practices
