About the event
Many of us are working to understand and tell the story of change in a specific place. This might mean working across lots of different stakeholders and services, and in longer term efforts that pose specific challenges for evaluation and learning. You may be grappling with how to design and implement place-based evaluations that are meaningful and effective, given the complexity of change and the timescales involved.
Join us for for a discussion on evaluation and evidence in relation to place-based work. John Hitchin and Anna Waldie will introduce their work on the Place and Evidence Substack, which seeks to answer the question: "What kind of evidence is needed for people who lead, fund, or participate in place-based change?'. Together, we will explore the following questions:
